Mohan Aidasani owned his first restaurant in Lanzarote in 2002, but decided to return to Mallorca in 2005 after falling in love with the island. He then opened Namaste India which has been a huge success and has since won many awards.
Had Mohan remained in Lanzarote we would not have the delight of his truly wonderful hospitality and cuisine. The friendly but discreet service offered by all the staff at Namaste India allows you, the guest, to relax and enjoy a dining experience that will keep you coming back for more.
Apart from the excellent quality of the food served here, one of the other things the restaurant is famed for, is the way in which the guests are made to feel completely welcome and at home by Mohan and his team. Their friendly manner, happy disposition and dedication to exceeding expectations is what wins guests over time and again.
Hidden here at Namaste India are two of India’s undiscovered treasures, their use of authentic ingredients and traditional cooking styles ensure that all of our dishes are prepared and displayed to perfection.
If you have any questions regarding the origin or composition of any of the items on the menu, please don’t hesitate to ask Mohan or your waiter who will be only too happy to help, and are always enthusiastic about sharing their personal knowledge of the cuisine of their heritage.
In the words of Mahatma Gandhi ” We are not doing him (our customer) a favour by serving him. He is doing us a favour by giving us an opportunity to do so”
